Trimming hedges with a razor...

...that sounds so impractical...oh wait...

I don't think I've ever seen an ad with so many innuendos crammed into it.

This is one of those 'banned from TV' ads that has miraculously been leaked to the internet. Whats more likely though is that this ad was never meant for TV, but instead meant, from the beginning, to be a viral internet campaign - I mean, who in their right mind would believe that this could be broadcast on national TV? The ad above has been moderately successful, though I believe it deserves far more attention.

Most companies will deny having made these ads, and suggest that it was some independent person who did it. Surprisingly, though, Wilkinson have been completely open in declaring the ad as their own. Ford Ka denied involvement in the highly successful "The Ka's Evil Twin" campaign; a couple of ads designed purely for a viral internet campaign, which can be viewed here. I have a Ka (Fionnula) but she would never do anything like that.

Volkswagon have something similar here. Though I can kind of see why they wouldn't want to associate themselves with this.

I cant believe...

...that Alphabeat would sell themselves out and let their song be used on the new Diet Coke ad. They used to be cool (...OK, they still are cool but they still shouldn't have done it!) I'm so disappointed in them.

The ad does remind me though of the far superior Maltesers series of ads. No-one could ever match these:

And speaking of Alphabeat, when is their next album/single out?! They've been getting a lot of radio air play lately suggesting one is coming soon. Anyone have any info?
